Listed on this page are links to images, maps, PDF documents, and more, pertaining to the Avenue V/eMetallurgy et al Mining "Prospecting Phase" Project. The material can be viewed in a browser or downloaded as desired.
In order to formulate the best factual and legal argument to oppose the proposed project, it is important that we all have as much knowledge as possible about the myriad aspects, laws, rules, and regulations at the local, county, state, and Federal levels affecting both the community and the mining operation.
The areas directly affected and severely impacted by the proposed mining operation's "prospecting" phase [which, at this time, is expected to take 2-3 years to develop and complete] are the Shannon Valley and Red Rover Mine Road communities (see parcel map image links below).
Please bookmark this page as we will continue to add material as frequently as possible. Thank you for your interest in finding out more about the community's concerns about the dangers of allowing a surface mining "prospecting" commercial venture to operate in our beautiful, rugged rural and scenic area in the high desert community of Acton, California.
NOTE: The hero image above is a Google Map Satellite image showing the Shannon Valley and Red Rover Mine Rd areas, the BLM land where the original Red Rover Mine is located, and the 3 mining operations parcels (3216-16-36, 3216-16-35, and 3216-16-20).

A definite must read.
